Growing up with apraxia in the Netherlands

Apraxia is a neurological disorder that affects a person's speech and movement. Jessica Huttinga has lived with apraxia since she was in pre-school, communicating with less than ten words at a time. Now at the age of 21, she is sharing her story.

"I share my story to create more awareness. In the Netherlands, there are still many parents whose children have been diagnosed, but do not know what the future will bring." - Jessica a young adult who grep up with apraxia in the Netherlands.
